Panic attack anxiety is a type of anxiety disorder that is distinguished for its sudden and unexpected burst outs. They are not triggered by any outside influence so it is hard to foretell when the next attack is going to strike you. An occurrence is formed in the mind and leads to the body’s defense system sending out a false alarm. Hence, the many symptoms that are associated with the panic attack anxiety begin to manifest.

Children and adults alike can suffer from this form of anxiety disorder and the effects are manifested in different ways. For example, if you want to know that your child is suffering from panic anxiety, you will notice a steady decline in his or her schoolwork, a withdrawal from other children at school, substance abuse, depression and suicidal actions or thoughts. Once the child gets to the point of suicide, please seek help. The symptoms of panic attack anxiety are generally harmless, but you will experience discomfort and some degree of pain for a certain period. Once the attack initiates, it will only take a few minutes for the symptoms to begin to manifest itself. What triggers the next attack after the first one? It will only lead to death in cases where a child starts practicing suicidal actions. The effects of the attack may result in an individual confining themselves in the premises of their houses because they are afraid to step outside. When an attack occurs in a certain place, the victim becomes afraid to go to that place and hence avoids it. Unfortunately, victims look at the situations and surroundings that triggered the first attack and they stay away from such to avoid the repeat of the first attack. This misconception only augments the likelihood of the panic anxiety attacks.

Furthermore, there are various symptoms to the attacks but different people will experience certain symptoms since we are all different and our immune systems react and function differently. Hence, it is wise to know all the symptoms. These include, dizziness, sore eyes, trembling or shaking, chocking sensations, sweating, loss of color skin, disturbed thoughts, fear of dying, chills, pain the neck and shoulders and chest pain among several others.

The impact of the attack is considerable when you look at the social life and daily life of the victim. Take not that the fear that is exhibited by these attacks are merely made up in the mind and are not present. So how do you end up fearing things that re not present? Worry, fear and stress are some of the causes of the attacks. These small things that we often overlook and take for granted.  Other causes include the effects of Hyperventilation syndrome, negative self-talk and exposure to some phobic object.
