As the lion is the king of the jungle, Leo’s are the natural born leaders of the human realm.  Leo’s often give off a sense of supreme confidence that many people just cannot help but follow. They are ambitious, courageous, dominant, strong willed, positive, independent, self-confident there is no such a word as doubt in their vocabularies, and they are self-controlled.

And like most kings, they inspire loyalty among those who are around them. Leo’s think and act bigger than others would normally dare; the ambitiousness of their schemes and idealism sometimes daunt their followers, their practical hardheadedness and ability to go straight to the heart of any problem reassures those who depend on them. If Leo’s meet with setbacks they thrive on the adversity.

Generally a Leo will use their powers for good, but they can also use them for evil and this can have catastrophic results.  Often Leo’s may gravitate to the certainness and power of religious dogma and therefore they can inspire followers to do things they might not normally do.

In his or her relations with others the Leo type is open, sincere, genuine and trusting. Outgoing, spontaneously warm hearted and plain spoken, though never lacking in kindliness, Leos are more disillusioned than the average if let down by those they trust. They are not good judges of character and are inclined to favoritism and an exaggerated faith in their followers that too often ends in disappointment.

This may lead Leo’s to have many rivals in their lives and these rival better watch out.  When a Leo feels that their position is being threatened they will stop at nothing to maintain what they have.  This could alienate some people, but more often than not, a Leo will come out on top of these situations.
