Now that we’ve discussed video game systems and video game genres, let us delve into some of the central issues surrounding video games.

In this section, we will discuss how games are played and how they’ve evolved over time.  First we’ll talk about the differences between single-player games and multiplayer games.  After that we’ll discuss the development of video games over the past two decades.  I’ve also thrown in a section about the new wave of professional gamers.
