Lemonade Diet

The basis of the Lemonade Diet is that you are to eat a mixture of cayenne pepper, maple syrup, and fresh lemon juice.  If you want, you are able to use a laxative while you are on the Lemonade Diet.  Proponents of the Lemonade Diet recommend that you embark on this eating plan for a minimum of 10 days and up to 40 days.  Essentially, the Lemonade Diet works as a fast.  You are not supposed to eat solid food throughout the duration of the Lemonade Diet.  However, once you are coming of the Lemonade Diet, it is recommended that you incorporate solid foods into your diet slowly.  Start with orange juice, then incorporate raw vegetables and fruit.  After three days, you should be able to eat your regular meals.

While there are many proponents of the Lemonade Diet, there are also an equal number of skeptics.  Nutritionists and health experts worry about the unbalanced nature of the Lemonade Diet and feel that it is too restrictive.  As you can imagine, the Lemonade Diet doesn’t follow a balanced eating plan.  Some people suggest that the Master Cleanser Diet lacks important nutrients such as protein and calories that help your body function.
