Lower Forty Farm Once a 175 acre Cattle farm.....our homeplace is a little smaller now. We downsized so that we could specialize. We kept the best 40 acres (the Lower Forty) for our home...and the home of our herd of Miniature Donkeys. At the present, they number close to 43.... Each specially picked for size, conformation and temperment, color, quality, and outstanding pedigrees. We will soon be offecommunity for sale some especially nice younger animals. Each of our Donkeys are special in their own way. Each has their own personality, and each responds to (and with) love and affection. They require a minimum amount of shelter and feed. Their biggest requirement is a little bit of love. These donkeys have a VERY big heart! We have a committment to our donkeys, to provide them with the best home and as much love and attention as we possibly can. {;}
Short ASSets Ranch is located in the "Heart of Texas", halfway between Dallas & Austin. Our herd sires include Star's War (dark brown), 2000 NMDA National 1-2 Yr Jack at Halter, 2000 NMDA National Reserve Best of Breed, 2000 NMDA Reserve Jack at Halter and PMF Total Eclipse, True Black NO VISIBLE CROSS and 2000 Model Donkey, Haughton La., My World Cheyenne (dark sorrel), D.K. Jack Daniel (gray/white spot) and El Niņo (blue roan). It is our goal to produce foals with outstanding conformation, delightful dispositions and a variety of colors for breeding, showing or just to love.{;}
We raise and love quality registered miniature donkeys at Hidden ASSets in Hudsonville Michigan. We are located 15 miles west of Grand Rapids.{;}{;}
