The Orpington Astronomical Society is a local society for those interested in all aspects of astronomy and space exploration. Meetings are held monthly, usually on the fourth Thursday of the month, at BEECHE at High Elms, starting at 7:30pm. Observing sessions are also held once or twice a month, usually meeting first at the Change of Horses in Farnborough Village, and moving to High Elms if the sky is clear.
Orpington Folk Music and Song Club exists to promote folk music and song. It is a non profit making organisation{;}and is for those who wish to listen to or take part in an informal evening of folk music and song.
