HAMPSTEAD GARDEN SUBURB ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY
A rising star in the league of astronomical clubs and societies, the Hampstead Garden Suburb Astronomical Society (HGSAS) was established in 2001 by a group of astronomy enthusiasts and former astronomy students. Our aim is to help and encourage people of all levels of knowledge to learn more about the fascinating subject of Astronomy, whatever their level of experience or knowledge, by: holding informal and friendly monthly meetings, encouraging members to learn from each other through informal presentations by society members inviting speakers as regular guests to society meetings arranging regular observing sessions and trips to places of significance to astronomers. Membership is open to absolutely anybody who is interested in Astronomy. For more information about joining the society, click on membership information.
