"Gee, the travel brochures didn't say that I'd be left in the middle of a desert begging for food" ... and the food was a paid for part of the package. I've enjoyed every trip I've taken out to the Western US except for one, and that one was a real education. This is the story of the experience, on a small but growing page about the Desert Southwest ("Joseph Dunphy's Cowboy Wanabee Site"), mostly photography right now, but with other topics to come.
