The Lost Canals of Schleswig-Holstein! The Two Canals that now flow through Schleswig-Holstein are the "Kiel Canal" ("Nordsee-Ostsee Kanal," formerly known as the "Kaiser-Wilhelm Kanal.") Which runs from the river Elbe at Brunsbuttle to the Kieler-Forde at the Baltic.
The other one is the "Elbe-Lübeck Kanal" running from Lauenburg (on the Elbe) and ends in Lübeck.
The Community is an inter-connected list of sites related to Canals & Inland Waterways. Each site displays a navigation code, Inserted By the Owner of the Site, which is used to move between sites. The community contains both personal and commercial sites, and anyone with a site related to canals & inland waterways is welcome to join.
