Alaska: Chapter Six We are an Air Force family and arrived at Eielson AFB, Alaska, our sixth assignment together as a family, in Sept 2006. I began this blog so family and friends could keep track of us on our journey north. I have longed to live in Alaska my whole adult life, and now that I am here I want to experience and learn all I can about this extraordinary land -- and write all about it.
I am a 40-year-old wife and mom to a teenaged girl, and two dogs.
