Christians and Writers and Queers, Oh My! A queer take on Christians, Christianity, writers, writing, and anything else that crosses my mind.
Does the church make sense or do we make it too hard for people to come in? I think yes and yes and the task then is to make it easier. Maybe for someone out there, this will be the case. I write as a Lutheran although I might seem out of the mainstream from time to time. That's okay, isn't it? Let's blog on.
A Presbyterian minister blogs about spirituality, culture, religion (both organized and disorganized), life, evolution, literature, Jesus and lightening up. John Shuck is the pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Elizabethton, Tennessee www.1stpres-eliz.org (a liberal church on the buckle of the Bible belt).
Reconciling Christian Bloggers A collective of bloggers who believe that the Kingdom of God includes all of God's children, regardless of race, age, class, gender, ability or sexual orientation; and who long for the day when all of God's children - lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, straight - are fully welcome around the Table of the Lord.
