Georgiana D A writer mom trying to find balance on her way to publication.
For most of my life, because my name is Penny, someone will ask me, "Penny for your thoughts." Some would simply tell me to add my 'two cents worth'. For the most part, I didn't appreciate it. On occasion, it was a dig, I felt, intended, I suspect to be funny.
As a blogger, I've had a time coming to a place of satisfaction with my blog title. One day, it came to me --- someone is always offering a penny for your thoughts,.... why not?
I'm happy with this idea. On this blog I do just what the title suggests, I share my two cents worth. I share my Lord and what He is teaching me or has taken me through.I open my heart, bearing my experience,hoping to be of help to another who may be passing by. Occasionally, I share what my family and I may be doing. I sometimes offer my opinion on what I see around me, the world in general or at large.
A writer, it seems to me, must always have a purpose in what she share, a message to the reader, even if the message is simply bringing a smile to a weary heart.
My desire is to share what the Lord has laid upon my heart, believing that He will bring the one or the many who need to hear the message.
Christian mother writes from the heart, detailing her daily struggles to become what God intended -- just hoping to bless someone.
