Triskeles Farm
Our family farm and homestead is located on 50 acres of land in the East Mountains located between Tijeras and Edgewood which is east of Albuquerque, New Mexico. About 30 acres (15 on the east end & 15 on the west end) are dense pine/juniper forest. A 20 acre meadow is located in the middle. Elevation is between 7000 and 7500 ... so the climate is more similar to Santa Fe than Albuquerque. The purpose of our farm: To explore a more sustainable lifestyle, live well on less, provide land based security for future generations, localize our economy (produce 50% of our food, 70% of our fuel, 100% of our electricity), provide goods to local markets, revitalize the practice of extended family living, and inspire others toward sustainability

Writings about our move toward sustainable living: the things we're doing, things I want to do, reading I'm doing, thoughts I'm thinking, and all those bad consumerist habits I need to kick.
