The Dusty Rose We Design everything we make here at The Dusty Rose. We specialize in a line of merchandise aimed towards the Renaissance Era. We make Flower garlands, Feather headdresses, Feather Fans, Beaded Circlets, Beaded Crowns, Jester Baubles, Fantasy Frogs, Potpourris, and Bath Salts. We custome design products for Weddings and Holiday Decorating. We work with dried and silk materials.
Lavolta Press publishes books on historic costuming, for women and men, including medieval and Renaissance. We sell to Renaissance Faire and SCA vendors, and to individual participants.
Earthly Delights is both the name of a wonderful band and the banner under which a cluster of related passions are exercised. As a band Earthly Delights might be anything from a trio of wandecommunity musicians to a full-on on-stage five-piece ensemble, and might be caught playing anything from pavans to tangos and leading anything from a simple 17th century country dance to a snazzy 19th century couples dance. As a banner, Earthly Delights covers everything from tutocommunity historical dance and putting on balls, to producing CDs, publishing dance & tune books and making fine costumes.
The League of Renaissance Merchants The League of Renaissance Merchants is a community for artists, craftsmen and merchants who participate in Medieval or Renaissance faires, SCA events or Living History events; provide period costumes, accessories, etc., to event participants and patrons, or sell products created by pariticapants in these events.
