Dante Weyr Dante Weyr is a new PBeM club. It is set just after a devastating plague which began in the north and migrated to the south, destroying both populations. Mix that in with meteor showers and you get a brand new Weyr in the north, made up of a collection of the survivors who have to deal with an impending Threadfall. Eastern Islands Weyr ~rpg~ is set in the theoretical 11th pass pern. By just signing up you can become a dragonrider and don\'t even have to go through the candidate stage. Eastern Islands Weyr is fun and accurate.
This is my site dedicated to the Dragonriders of PernŽ series, created by Anne McCaffrey, with its Weyrs, Holds and Halls; the dragons and their riders, the Holders, and the Craftmen who all inhabit Pern
In this site, I intend to examine the world of Pern, created by Ms. McCaffrey, though of course it will be necessary to include, a good deal of information, as well as basic facts and theories. I going to try to make this site into as much as possible into an evaluative site, as I can, but it will be difficult! I intend to look into the political, economic, and social systems and apparatus, and how they work, and attempt to make appropriate and relevant links to similar periods or themes in the history of Earth where possible to aid understanding.
