Crazy By Design - Day By Day A somewhat daily record of the goings on in the studio of Kim Marguerite LaPolla of Crazy By Design and at the Greenville Arms 1889 Inn in beautiful upstate New York. Kim is also the Art Workshop Director of the Hudson River Valley Art Workshops, which presents workshops by professional artist instructors in fiber arts and painting.

I work with fabric, paint, dye, air brush, embroidery (machine and hand), quilting, and photography. This site is dedicated to recording what goes on in my Studio
I have found that regular photo journaling about the work I do has helped me stay focused. At the same time it offers others who share the same interests an open studio to browse ducommunity down time. Of course I welcome feedback - I treat it like gold.
Artful Quilters Blog Community This community is for quilt artists whose focus is making contemporary, innovative, non-traditional, and/or experimental quilts to share their blogs, exchange thoughts about the process of art quilting, and share other bits of life that swirl around quilt making. While we enjoy and admire more traditional quilts, this community is not intended for blogs that focus on traditional quilting.
