Stuart Studebaker discusses a variety of topics regarding contemporary energy policy and the culture of peak oil awareness. His position is that not enough is presently being done, but nihilism is not appropriate; that we should think "die down" rather than "die off"; that there is (presently and for the next several years) a great deal of elasticity in the energy sector that is presently being wasted; and that everything we do has far reaching consequences and not all of those consequences are bad.
