My husband and I have been married for 21 years and have been in the ministry for 18 years. We are a family of 5 who love Jesus and are trying to live out the verses in Philippians 2. We are committed to serving the Lord wherever He leads. We have served in the pastorate for the past 8 years and before that we ministered in an inner city ministry for 10 years.
My blog is meant to encourage women in their roles as wives and mothers. I share scripture, thoughts, recipes, crafts, and generally, just share my life. I love my life as a helper to my husband in our ministry. I also have three children, all with various levels of physical and neurological issues. I find much of my time is spent in dealing with their individual needs as well. My oldest son is on the autism spectrum and has multiple learning disabilities. My middle son struggles with thyroid issues and my youngest daughter has multiple, life-threatening food and environmental allergies. Needless to say, that keeps me busy!
My hope is that I can share from my experience and encourage those who are struggling with similar issues.
I'm just an old woman who is bored easily looking for somewhere to set up my soapbox.
