WesternMassAmateurRadio [WMAR] As the name implies, the WesternMassAmateurRadio [WMAR] e-mail list is primarily for Amateur Radio Operators operating in the Western sections of Massachusetts (USA).
However, we do understand that radio waves don’t stop at state boarders, so we invite and welcome Amateur Radio Operators from Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut and New York State to our group.
You do ~not~ have to be affiliated with any Amateur Radio Club to be a member of this e-mail list. This should not be taken as a negative refection on any one Club. There are numerous Amateur Radio Clubs and Associations doing good works every day. Many if not most have their own e-mail lists. To get onto their list, you have to join their club. Not here... the WesternMassAmateurRadio e-mail list is open to all Amateur Radio Operators, holding any valid license class ticket.
