Moon Moods An on-line diary of a manic depressive, Bipolar I who is coming to terms with such a diagnosis. And other mentally unrelated crap that goes on in her life. Warning: author is prone to rants about issues that don't really matter.
I am a woman in my early 30s. I have bipolar disorder, type 2. I've been treated for this disorder since 2004 but, looking back, I have had some aspect of it since I was about eleven. I was diagnosed with unipolar depression when I was in college and started on Prozac...thus the name! It runs in my family. I am married to a wonderful man who is supportive and sympathetic to what I deal with. Overall I have been in treatment for one thing or another since 1995.
I have a generally positive attitude about things...my blog is not exclusively about bipolar or mental health, but there are a lot of things related to it. I have a lot of humorous content, as well as poetry...I write a lot about religion, but this is because Christianity and faith in general has been a very large part of my life. I don't always have nice things to say, though...I have been hurt by some Christians regarding bipolar.
I don't really know what else to say. I'm generally a fun person who loves animals and has five cats to prove it! I look forward to hearing from you!
