Marcus Garvey principles, Black issues, Caribbean issues, Africans in the Diaspora, The African Diasporic history, African-Caribbean history and world history as it affects us as a people. My writing isn't restricted or compartmentalized but rather, it is my voice from which I say to the world, "Look! I AM! I BE!" and as such, it is a testimony of life the way I see it, in all its glory, beauty, heartache and pain- from my soul perspective. Writing in itself is my catharsis and this blog, The Abeng and My Conscious Pen is a tool with which I cleanse my soul. It also comes from my own creative process and is totally original.
