MOM - Not Otherwise Specified On raising a son on the autism spectrum, progressive politics, pop culture, and coffee addiction
I'm Michelle, I live in Northwest Indiana. I am married to a wonderful man named Rob. We have 3 great kids. Tierra is 12, Isaiah is 7 and Xander is 5. Our middle child Isaiah has an autism spectrum disorder. It's been an up and down rollercoaster. We are currently using biomed to treat Isaiah's autism and have seen a huge improvment. I would now classify him as high functioning. He's such a sweet loving little mama's boy. He wants to be a principal when he grows up, and he wants me to be the schools nurse so we can work together! I work full time at a hospital. Mostly on a med/surg floor, but I'm in a float pool, so I do all the floors. I'm a realistic person, I'm not a super mom...I blog about life the way it really is, the good the bad and the ugly. I cook Gluten free Casein Free meals. I post my menu every monday, and love to share and try new recipes. I love organizing my house, it calms me to have a place for everything and have everything in it's place, I usually share my weekly tackles on Tuesdays. Wednesday's I share something random to give you a little window into my world. Friday's I try to review a product or food I've tried that week. I also throw in things about family, work, and life in general...as well as important news info. I look forward to seeing you there!
