Knitting Sunshine

Knitting is what I do to unwind after a long day of oncogenetics. Nothing fancy, but always comfortable, and usually of my own design. Natural fibers only - No plastic yarn! My other hobbies are travel and photography, which lead to blogging. what, this can't be _less_ than a thousand characters?? I'm supposed to write a novel? I have work to do! Blogging to get to! A new kimono to design! Alrightthen, my site. I blog mostly about my travels, though the weekly Friday Photo Shoot Out takes up a fair number of posts. Other than that, I often talk about things related to science, though not so much science itself. I'll talk about how it is to write a paper and how that's different from regular writing. Or I'll present a current topic to my readers, who are mostly not scientists at all. And there's the Monday Poetry Bus, though I'm not a great poet. There hasn't been much knitting on the blog, but I may add some now I'm a member here. Other fun thing: my second blog, pinkrabbitabroad.blogspot.com, which chronicles the adventures of a stuffed pink rabbit and his stuffed laboratory rat gang. With occassional vignettes of the doings of two windup dinosaurs and their search for food. They tried to eat my cat once. That's more than a 1000? good. I will stop now.

The knitting adventures of a 30-something bioinformatician living in the Chicago's Ukranian Village.
