I'm a knitter...I'm a spinner....I'm a yarnie...I'm balmy...and I'm british! Inspired by 19502 american pop culture and japan in the noughties, my designs are vivid, colourful, happy and 'zingy'...as long as they make someone somewhere happy, my job's been successful.
I love vintage fabrics with a modern edge...and contemporary designers like michael miller and cath kidston...I have a professional design and theatre (gasp!! a thespian!!) backround and cleaned many a toilet before finally deciding enough was enough I HAD to knit and spin and sew for a living! My blog Knitz&Bitz is to share my love and mad obbsessing about yarn and fabrics...I post free patterns, cool links and basically want to do anything I can to help promote knitters!! It IS fun ,it IS sassy and more to the point, it's the perfect end of the day unwinder and a lot more healthy than too many glasses of plonk.....so I urge you , knitters of britain, to unite with your dpns and walk proud with your yarn.....come and join Knitz&bitz...xx
