Sigma, Moray's Astronomy Club Founded in early 2000, Sigma now has a strong membership of around 50 and meets on the first Friday of every month at 7pm in Elgin, Morayshire. Sigma also has it's own observing site at Birnie, making the most of the areas dark skies. Observing sessions are held every Friday, weather depending.

Knowle Astronomical Society was formed in April 2001. New members are welcome - young and old. Our members range from complete beginners to experienced amateur astronomers. We have armchair astronomers as well as keen observers.
Monthly meetings are held along with occasional observing sessions (star parties) and trips.No prior knowledge of astronomy is necessary, just a curiosity about the Universe in which we live. Why not attend a meeting to try us out! Meetings are held at 7.30pm on the first Monday of each month at Dorridge Methodist Church Hall, 135 Mill Lane, Bentley Heath, SOLIHULL, West Midlands, B93 8NY.
