Emotional Support Animals list This group discusses various types of emotional support animals. ESAs include pets of persons with disabilities or the elderly in housing situations, and animals which assist persons with mental illness based disabilities while flying. Dogs and cats are the most common species involved, but birds, rodents, and other species can also be considered emotional support animals.
