NeedleWerks NeedleWerks....Knitting and Kneedless KNowledge
Knitting in Raleigh, NC. I have 5 children, 2 dogs and 3 cats. I love knitting, blogging and gardening, so you will probably see all of that in my blog. I love socializing over the internet about knitting and sharing what I know with others. I also prefer to learn what I can on my own, by asking others or reading about it in an instructional book rather than taking classes, if I can. I have tried some color knitting, but I'm not a big fan. I love to knit socks. I love to knit lace. Lace is a favorite, partly because the yarn is so nice and inexpensive for so many hundreds of yards. Also, I have knit a raglan, baby surprise, I also love aran knitting, I have knit a doggy gansey, so I guess you can add gansey knitting to my repertoire. I can knit socks on 5 double points, 2 circulars, from the toe up, or top down, short row heel, standard heel flap, short row toe or kitchner. I love Judy's magic cast on but haven't figured out how to make it work two at a time. I am a Christian. I love God. Without him, I know I would be in a straight jacket somewhere. Really.
