commentary, news, history and more, all from a Southern perspective... Southern music, literature... portraits of Southern heroes and legends, original essays, Southern recipes posted... even some original poetry, with a Southern theme... Southern ature and wildlife scenes will be featured... all of this as the site grows. It is a brand new blog and I am just getting started with it, but as you can see I have lofty goals for my page. Eventually I would like to grow to a full-fledged website. I started with the blog, more or less, to test the waters and see what kind of audience I can attract. I would like to, at some point, include offers for Southern-themed merchandise, such as books, clothing, and memorabilia... but that is in the future. I will focus, for the time being, on the content of the page. It also provides an outlet for my writing. I have always loved to write, and I have always loved the South, so with this I get to indulge two of my passions.
