British Astronomical Association
Formed in 1890, the British Astronomical Association has an international reputation for the quality of its observational and scientific work. Membership is open to all persons interested in astronomy.

Web Site for a local astronomical Society, based in Portslade, near hove, East Sussex. We have regular astronomy talks and when the weather is clear have observing sessions. Our aim is to attract members from the Brighton, Hove, Portslade & Southwick areas of Sussex (and beyond) and to promote the interests of Astronomy in a way that is accessible and enjoyable for people of all abilities.

The Orpington Astronomical Society is a local society for those interested in all aspects of astronomy and space exploration. Meetings are held monthly at BEECHE at High Elms, and observing evenings also take place every month at High Elms.
