Random Knits Sydney Domestic Manager and Knitter.
Knitting and crochetting is like learning a new language - only with these crafts you need pictures as well!
In this blog I try to offer simple, easy patterns of my own, and discuss other items that I'm making along the way and any tips or tricks that I can offer and hopefully help other people who may have similar trouble.
Most of my patterns tend to be practical things, or baby related items as a lot of people in my life are having kids like you wouldn't believe!
Crochetting is new to me - I learnt about 6 months ago and am enjoying it immensley. I struggle a bit with the american version of stitches as compared to the british version, but as I make more things I get better at the conversions - like I said before, it's a new language that requires pictures!
I publish my patterns and achievements on Ravelry.com under the name renjet. It's a very useful site for managing all the little details of knitting and crochetting - organising your needles, yarn and patterns you'd like to make.
