Integrated Movement Studies (sm) is a faculty team of internationally recognized movement educators that offer Certificate Programs in Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies, Introductory and Advanced Workshops, and a variety of customized professional services. Based in Southern California, in the United States, the team consists of Ed Groff, Peggy Hackney, Janice Meaden and Pam Schick. They have worked together as dance artists, movement educators and Laban/Bartenieff Certification Faculty for 30 years.
Certificate Programs in Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies offered by Integrated Movement Studies, are graduate level programs, which provide a comprehensive study of movement and its meaning. As a participant in these programs you will gain a deeper understanding of the structural, functional and expressive aspects of human movement. IMS Certificate Programs are offered in affiliation with the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah and in Berkeley CA.
