Bengals of Shabeel Shabeel Bengals is a small cattery in southern New Mexico. The name, Shabeel, comes from the Somalian language and means \\\"leopard.\\\" Our cats are from championship Millwood lines. We breed for glitter (ends of hair shines like gold in the sunlight), rosettes (spots have more than one color), thick, shiny, pelted coats, personality, and sociability. Our Bengals are raised in the house, and under foot. They are members of the family, and often travel with us. Kittens are held from birth and well socialized.
