A daily (more or less) diary or sorts that describes the journey to obtaining a JD and finding gainful employment with it.
Be advised, I do not follow the "law school scam" path and will hold those that complain of their debt accountable for taking it on.
While this blog may have its first post at the tail end of 2009, at which point I had already taken the LSAT and applied to several law schools, I provide background information on the following:
Books and materials that are useful for preparing for the LSAT, the most efficient way to study for the LSAT, and the incredible importance of scoring well on the LSAT even if you don't plan on attending a top-10 law school.
I also provide information on the importance of the undergraduate GPA, how LSDAS computes your undergraduate GPA, and how you may be able to improve your GPA more than you thought (if you have not already received your first undergraduate degree).
There will be advice on negotiating law school scholarships, and then once law school begins, there will be updates on what a student should expect, based on what transpires on my journey.
Focusing on the medical record privacy and security provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996{;}
