This site sets the record straight on Major John H. Gee. Major Gee, a war hero from Quincy, Florida, has been greatly maligned for his role as prison commandant. He was the the second prison commandant tried for war crimes (following Wirz).
There is so much more to Florida other than Disney World and tourists and "recounts"! (smile) I grew up in a different environment here with some wonderful memories of woods, water, gators and beautiful live oaks with Spanish moss gently swaying from the limbs in the sub-tropical breezes.{;}
