Welcome to the Tidewater Kennel Clubs' website. We are located in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area of Virginia. The heart of Hampton Roads.{;}{;}Founded in 1946, the Tidewater Kennel Club of Virginia, Inc. is an all-breed club; a member of the American Kennel Club (AKC); a non-profit organization; and dedicated to promoting the interest of dogs and breeders of pure-bred dogs. For this purpose, the club sponsors two all-breed dog shows a year and monitors the legislation of dogs at the local, state and national levels.
DIKC endeavors to further the advancement, and protection of all breeds of pure-bred dogs. We have educational programs as well as matches, shows, and training classes.
