James Page Story of James Peter Crisp born in Melbourne with HLHS 2000.{;}James has now had all 3 surgeries
David, our little "Pinto", was diagnosed at 24 weeks in utero with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He was also born 8 weeks premature. After 26 days of giving us great joy, David passed away peacefully in his Mom and Dad's arms on November 26, 2000 at 6:22pm.
This site is dedicated to my son, Benjamin John, who lost his battle with HLHS at the age of 25 months. He was doing super and was awaiting the fontan, when he died suddenly due to a blood clot. For those of you just beginning this journey, there is always hope. Give your child a chance.
