When we attempted to fill in the family tree in our wedding book, we realized how little we knew about our family. So began our research and an interest in genealogy. Over the years we have collected a lot of information. We especially found that obituaries and tombstone inscriptions were good sources. Therefore our collection of obituaries and cemetery recordings began. We felt this information could be of use to other researchers. In May of 1993 Ancestral Information Service was born.
