One of the funniest new books for a long time. The book is now being made into an animated feature film and features great music together with groundbreaking Flash based animation. The web site is worth a visit as it has the animated music video, a cool strip club you can visit and wild music samples.
THE MUSIC FOR "SCARLETT MAY BLOSSOM"
Hollywood producer/director Paul Davids wrote the original lyrics for
the songs “Scarlett May Blossom” and “Ceilings I Have Seen,” both of
which were revised by Los Metzgers, the music team of Russell and
Martin Metzger of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Los Metzgers created the
melodies for Yellow Hat Productions, Inc., which is the production
company for Scarlett May Blossom projects for television and film.
Paul Davids and the Metzgers worked in Nashville together at Junction
Studio to record those songs and other music for Scarlett May Blossom
as well, including “Lazy,” “The Bottom Half of Rock Bottom” and “Gonna
Buy Me a Bottle of Whiskey,” plus the instrumental numbers “Hillbilly
Conquistador” and “Robin’s Salvage.” The song “Scarlett May Blossom”
became the basis for Carolle-Shelley Abrams’ directing and animating
the first Scarlett May Blossom music video.
