I've realized I have way too much fabric just sitting around, waiting patiently for me to finally let it serve its purpose in the world--before it gets squished by my newest purchases from JoAnn's or wherever.
Maybe it's the colors I have to work with (LOTS of dark blue!) that aren't "fun" colors for me anymore--if I can work orange and hot pink into a quilt, I feel it's complete; add purple and lime green, it's downright magical! :)
My goal is to work through my stash, even the "precious" fabrics I keep saving for something else.
(Well, except the panel and coordinating print I have saved up for any future sons. Would I be jinxing myself if I do that? )
To add to my monster stash of yardage--there's the scrap pile! Sometimes I like the scrap pile more, but the ironing! the cutting! the frustration of only having 6" of a gold print you need 8" of! did I mention the ironing and cutting?
I'm afraid of counting up my UFOs cluttering up drawers--at least they're separated from each other. That's good, right?
