Stereomerger
Stereomerger.com is the home website for Stereomerger, a 3D-photo shareware application for Mac and PC. Stereomerger can automatically merge your stereo images, batch process them or just show them. It can create, view and/or convert anaglyphs, Stereo-jpegs, lenticulars(beta), StereoCards, Holmes-cards, cards for Loreo-viewers and much much more. Support for reading MPO files, from the new Fujifilm Finepix Real 3D W1, is recently added. Stereomerger has a powerful script-engine that let you create scripts that you can apply once or on batches of images. These scripts can be anything from simple automatic adjustments of alignmnet and colour, to complex scripts that creates almost all known formats of stereoscopic images. Of course you can add frames, texts and overlay images. You can even let Stereomerger create 3D-images from 2D, even though it is a little bit limited. Stereomerger support Zalman 3D-monitors, Super 3D station and 3D DLP-displays, even on Mac, totally without the need for nvidia-cards or special drivers. It is shareware, so it is adviced to try before you buy!

Do you have a collection of stereoscopic 3D photos you would like to present on your web site? OneEyeStereo™ is a FREE Flash® 9 applet you can download for use on your web site. In addition to traditional stereo displays like "funny glasses" anaglyph or side by side views, the applet smoothly animates your photos to create the illusion of depth without the need for glasses or special viewing techniques. To turn your stereoscopic photo album into a full-blown cinematic experience, you can add music, sound, and narration to any of four "smart" soundtracks. OneEyeStereo™ integrates seamlessly in your web pages and can blend with your site design by changing only one color parameter. Flexible input formats (cross-eyed, parallel, and individual left/right JPG, JPS, PNG, and GIF photos) and an almost self-explanatory XML setup make showing off your stereo photo masterpieces a snap. The applet resizes itself to any container (e.g. <div> or <iframe>), preserving the set aspect ratio of your photos at all times. Fully commented, cut-and-paste HTML/CSS code examples are included with the download package and have you displaying 3D stereo photos on your web site in minutes.

Old photographs and artwork can now be converted into stereoscopic 3D. Take a look at a JFK photo on Dealey Plaza, seconds before his 1963 assassination as it has never been seen before. Anaglyph (red & blue) glasses are needed for the effect. Working with stereoscopic cameras for over 35 years and imaging and 3D modeling for the past 20, these images are nothing less than astounding. Imagine viewing old historic photos, such as the Civil War or other famous events in history. While the process cannot add detail, stereoscopic images allow viewers to see something in full depth, as the brain can fill in missing links. This makes it ideal for forensic investigations. In the very near future, stereoscopic will be common on computers, Plasma and LCD displays. Already, the film industry has introduced a number of 3D films in the RealD format, allowing a much more pleasant viewing experience than early 1950s attempts that often resulted in eye strain or headaches. Also, the game industry are testing the waters on several projects that work in S-3D, a driver and glasses that work with your computer’s video card. There are companies now developing screens that produce the 3D effect without the need for glasses. These will likely first show up at shopping malls with kiosk displays that will surly attract shoppers more than conventional ads. When the price comes down, these screens will end up in the home, old photos and movies will be seen in a way that puts one into the environment.
