Camp Greyhound Camp Greyhound is a great way to provide a home-away-from-home for your retired racing greyhound. We are located in the Greater Toronto Area, just off Highway 400 about 45 minutes north of the city of Toronto. We welcome retired racers for a short stay of a few hours or long stays of several weeks. We are a grey savvy household, we've been sharing our lives with retired racers for over 6 years, and are moving into our third year with Camp Greyhound, which has been an enormous success. We found the options for getting care for a greyhound while away very limited to say the least, so Camp Greyhound grew out of this need.
We also run a raw food and health products webstore, and carry such items as Colloidal Silver (made here by ourselves), Diatomaceous Earth (non-toxic pest control for fleas and intestinal parasites)and our famous "Just Liver" also known as "Greyhound Crack", just one of our very popular treats.
A portion of all our proceeds goes to support the work of Greyhound Relocation and Adoption Canada (GRA Canada), a very active greyhound placement agency located in southwestern Ontario.

Jans Greyhound and Lurcher Gifts was established back in the 80's to help raise fund for retired, abused and abandoned ex racers from the greyhound racin kennels in the UK and Ireland.
A percentage donation from the sales from the goods purchased from Jans is spread across a wide range of rescue kennels in addition to the donations made to rescue kennels that are made due to internet customers telling her they were recommended by a certain kennel.
Apart from the general range of cottage industry made coats, collars, leads etc., Jan offers gifts, books, origional art and prints.
The site provides hundreds of links to rescue kennels, associations, greyhound savvy vets and links to hundreds of all breed rescue sites and kennels.
The customer feedback received by Jan is quite extensive and is recorded on the site via a link.
Jan also offers, free of charge, to list up and coming events that are designed to help raise funds for greyhounds, whippets and lurchers.
