Diary of an Eccentric I've always been a book worm, so I discovered that blogging was the perfect way for me to jot down my thoughts about the books I read and "meet" people who love books as much as I do. On Diary of an Eccentric, I review every book I read to keep track for myself and create a space for other readers to discuss these titles. I read books in an assortment of genres, but my favorite books are historical fiction, particularly those dealing with World War II and Vietnam. I also participate in weekly book-related memes, reading challenges, readathons, Book Blogger Appreciation Week, and other book-related blog events, and I discuss them on my blog. I've had the pleasure of interviewing authors whose books I've enjoyed, and I feature these interviews on my blog as well. From time to time, I post book giveaways, either my own or those hosted by the author or publisher. Reading isn't my only passion -- I also write fiction and knit, so I talk about these other hobbies from time to time as well.

From the Prologue:
"Dead silence spanned the plain. They came with the failing of the light. Their slender swords gleamed silver in the pale light of the moon.
On the other side of the plain young, inexperienced hands clutched their swords, and old men held their breath. A dark horror crept over the battlefield and smothered everything in its path.
A dark figure stood at the top of the cliff. The wind lifted strands of midnight hair. They floated about his head as if they had a life of their own. He steadied himself and drew his sword. His voice was a whisper.
Now."
I am a published author and this is my memoir website. It contains a few journal entries from the 80's and I posted a few retro music videos at the end of each entry. What's on my website now? I posted a few journal entries from 1986.In that time of my life I matured quickly. The website has links to books I've written and a link to my personal Webshots album where people can view some of my online photo albums. The albums have pictures from my books and a few family videos. I have no regrets writing my memoir and most of the people mentioned in my memoir are family members and friends. There's a chance that I MIGHT change a few of my ex-lover's names by the time the book is published. However, it's still left to chance. Everything written on the website is based on fact. Names have NOT been changed. Many people came and went & there were a few people I met in my life that made a good impression on me and then there were some who didn't. Life is a journey. Stay true to yourself.....
