Robert's Ramblings My passion has become the pursuit of excellence in teaching underwater photography to scuba divers.
For me it has been a wonderful experience in bringing to the air breathing world a little of the aquatic adventures I share with friends and new divers alike.
My love of underwater photography began nearly 20 years ago with Sea & Sea's Motor marine II. For many years my photos were snapshots of my underwater adventures and trophies of the creatures I had seen.
The advent of digital however transformed my sometimes platonic and sometime eager photographic sojourns into something fresh and exciting.
Over the last four years of progressing through the ranks from simple fully automatic point and shoot, through to the fully automatic compacts and now on to housed DSLR the quality of my images has progressed in leaps and bounds along with my own criticism.
I now have two reasons to keep going in this exciting pastime. The first to learn everything I can to help me take extraordinary images and the second is to pass on that knowledge and excitement through teaching.

UW photography is my passion. As a professional photographer in Switzerland, I do also a lot of landscapes. So if you're to warm, just go back to the surface and see other shots.
