Flora Isadora: Advocatus Diaboli
Photography blog with a shadow theme. I like cemeteries, ripped tights, sunsets, dead things, rock stars, blood, and filth. Still not a 1000 characters? Dude, you're killing me with the 1000 character minimum. Can't you make an exception? I mean- it's a PHOTO BLOG. That's where pictures go. You know, pictures? Worth a 1000? Well, there's lots of photos there so totally worth more than 1000. Like 100,000. So there. Feh. Still nearly 600 characters to go... All work and no play make Flower a dull girl...All work and no play make Flower a dull girl...All work and no play make Flower a dull girl...All work and no play make Flower a dull girl...All work and no play make Flower a dull girl...All work and no play make Flower a dull girl...All work and no play make Flower a dull girl...All work and no play make Flower a dull girl...All work and no play make Flower a dull girl...All work and no play make Flower a dull girl...All work and no play make Flower a dull girl...All work and no play make Flower a dull girl...All work and no play make Flower a dull girl...

Street photography from Bangkok, Thailand. .....the good, the bad, and the ugly. Capturing the atmosphere of this 24hr Asian Metropolis. everything from the ladyboys, and bargirls, to the Street vendors. the faces i see everyday... the people who make their lives, and their livelihoods on the famous Sukhumvit road in Bangkok. Bangkok is a colourful city, and needs to be shot in colour....in my mind to take away the colours would be to remove its identity. Or at least part of its identity. One day they will invent a way of capturing the smells from somewhere. resulting in a small file which can be accessed along side the photograph. But until then, i shall do my best to capture the atmosphere minus the smells.... For many who live in Asia, these scenes are common place and for many local Bangkok people. They are amazed at why i want to take some of these shots, and equally amazed when people across the globe comment on them. understandable really, for if you live here.... then you know how life is on the streets of Bangkok. But if you don't, then my pictures aim to give you a better idea.

Art Photography by Tamara Lynn ~ Tamara lives on the East Coast, USA. Born and raised in the city of Philadelphia, many sites have caught her eye. Since childhood she rarely goes anywhere without a camera close by. Capturing moments of life though landscapes, mundane objects, people, animals, and any visual temptation that sparks her curiosity. One of her most memorable quotes is stating she felt "she lost her virginity" the first time she developed her own photograph in a dark room in high school. Recently, she has traveled up and down the east coast shooting images that leave one inspired and curious. She has been printed in local publications and she is currently working on collections from her American travels for upcoming 2010 Calenders. Tamara is a firm believer that is not always the equipment used, but the exchange between a moment and/or object and the person behind the lens. One of Tamara's favorite aspects of photograph is the process of growth. She believes the more she shoots, the more she grows as a photographer, and this is what excites her. Tamara is open to questions, comments and/or networking. She is always grateful towards anyone who takes the time to appreciate her work. (written 11/2009)
