Carinya Park Stud American Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys in Australia. We are a small stud in Victoria, Australia. Breeding a select number of Miniature Mediterraneans each season. Breeding for temperament and 'true to type' animals.
Coming from a background of horse-keeping, riding, equine welfare, and competition, we are naturally lovers of all things Equine. The American Miniature Mediterranean Donkey however, with its gentle and affectionate nature, and intelligent outlook, has really won our hearts. Our Donkeys are a valued part of our lives and family. Life would just not be the same without them!
Our goal is to breed quality American Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys who possess excellent conformation, are true to the breed standard, and, just as importantly, who possess wonderful temperaments which endear them to their owners and make them much loved and valued family members.
'Carinya' is an Aboriginal word meaning 'happy home', and we certainly hope that we are succeeding in providing that for our Equine family!
