Go With The Flowski Photo Blog Follow the adventures of Jack and flowski as we photo and video blog our adventures traveling around the USA. We go explore everything from scenic back roads and byways to music concerts and festivals like Bonnaroo.
If it's a music festival we're there photo and video moblogging event highlights as they happen on our iPhone and then I'll go back and add additional HD video and that can't yet be moblogged. We can be frequently be found at jam band shows such as Phish, Widespread Panic, String Cheese Incident etc.
In between concerts and music festivals we like to go sightseeing on Americas country roads, visit National Parks and go camping in our Nations National Forests.
In the winter months we ski Tahoe reporting unusual weather events like monster snow storms and moblog our adventures on the mountain. Jack and I both ski and love to share photos of the incredible powder days we get in the Tahoe Basin.
We often review the activities, restaurants, hotels as a helping to guide others.
Today's Snapshot is a collection of snapshots (photos, pictures) taken by amateurs from their mobile phones. Everyday a submitted snapshot by you, will be chosen and published by me, the author.

In other words, Today's Snapshot is a blog that is created by the content of the readers. The readers can submit photos taken from their mobile phones and will be entered to be chosen as Today's Snapshot. The Photo you submit will then be posted as the photo blog for that day.
The photographers name will appear as well as a title or heading he or she choses.
This blog is attended to attract those who take photos on your mobile (camera) phone and for others to view the amazing photos that can be captured. The style and direction of the photos are up to the readers of the blog and I, the author will select the photo that I feel is best, using the guidelines of photography and life as the barriers.

.....the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Capturing the atmosphere of this 24hr Asian Metropolis.
everything from the ladyboys, and bargirls, to the Street vendors. the faces i see everyday... the people who make their lives, and their livelihoods on the famous Sukhumvit road in Bangkok.
Bangkok is a colourful city, and needs to be shot in colour....in my mind to take away the colours would be to remove its identity. Or at least part of its identity.
One day they will invent a way of capturing the smells from somewhere. resulting in a small file which can be accessed along side the photograph. But until then, i shall do my best to capture the atmosphere minus the smells....
For many who live in Asia, these scenes are common place and for many local Bangkok people. They are amazed at why i want to take some of these shots, and equally amazed when people across the globe comment on them.
understandable really, for if you live here.... then you know how life is on the streets of Bangkok. But if you don't, then my pictures aim to give you a better idea.
