Mindful Musings Book Blog This blog contains reviews and recommendations on young adult and teen books. I also like to post about news in the book world, host giveaways, recommend other great book blogs, interview authors, etc. I participate in weekly bookish memes such as Teaser Tuesdays, Waiting on Wednesday, and In My Mailbox.
I love to meet new people and hear their comments about books they've read. I find most of my books through recommendations from my blogging friends! I always appreciate comments left on my site, and I try to return the favor as frequently as possible, though college and "real life" sometimes get in the way.
Some of my favorite books are the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, Gone by Michael Grant, The Host by Stephenie Meyer, The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova, The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux, the Gemma Doyle Trilogy by Libba Bray, Dracula by Bram Stoker, Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, and The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins.
Please stop by and visit me if you get the chance. Thanks!
i read. i write about it. mostly urban fantasy and historical mysteries; a few odd stuff. no frills. just books.
What is BookSexy? Start with what isn’t. It isn't Jane Austen. Most of the books that made your high school summer reading list, definitely NOT BookSexy. Anything with “Forgotten Realms” somewhere on the front cover, HELL NO!
No one is saying you can't read these books (at least we aren’t saying that here). But BookSexy is more than a good read, it’s a statement you make to the world.
And that’s the point – We believe that books say a lot about who you are. More than that, we believe you should say a lot about the books you are reading. Why? Because they influence what you think & discuss with the people around you. They make you a more interesting person. Someone can look at you across a room (or coffee house, or subway train), see the cover of your book, and decide then and there if you're someone they need to know. This blog was created to help you choose books that broadcast to the world at large who you are and what you care about.
Our motto – Who you are is what you read.
Bookaholic Blogcommunity For all the incurable book addicts out there who love to share what they are reading.
