Scarlett May Blossom's Diary - Ceilings I Have Seen
ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR Carolle-Shelley Abrams is from Manchester, United Kingdom. She came to the USA after winning the Arts and Media Trust Award Scholarship which enabled her to travel anywhere in the world and pursue her art. Carolle-Shelley shook up the art world with her visionary paintings and drawings. Then she yawned, bored with the politics and pretense of the scene, and embarked on a Zen-like quest for renewed artistic fulfillment, which led her to animation. Her world was soon rocked by a very specific animated vision. She created a character known as Natalie – a chain-smoking French coquette and self-proclaimed inspiration of all things beautiful and elegant. Natalie became Carolle-Shelley’s star of four short movies, and Carolle-Shelley became Natalie's famous French voice. Paul Davids, President of Yellow Hat Productions, Inc., commis-sioned Carolle-Shelley Abrams as director and book illustrator for Scarlett May Blossom, and she will be continuing to turn her attention to the scandalous exploits of Scarlett May Blossom for television and film. Carolle-Shelley's short films include “OOLA OOP DINER,” “OOLA OOP L’EAU DE OHH!” (Best Animated Short, Santa Barbara International Film Festival) and “ALIEN DINNER THEATER” (winner of the EBE Award for Best Animated Short from the International UFO Congress). All three films are available on iTunes. She also produced a Natalie short called “THE ESCAPE ARTIST” and is director and animator of the first “SCARLETT MAY BLOSSOM” animated music video.
