Erasing Anxiety

Erasing Anxiety
Miriam Carney, a Registered Nurse, has developed a spiritual approach to managing anxiety without the use of drugs. Miriam believes that a vast majority of mild to moderate anxiety could be managed just by determining what issues and concerns are troubling a person, and then determining what can be changed and what cannot be changed. The Serenity Prayer is used as the basis for Miriam's unique approach to managing anxiety. She believes that people have given over their ability to sort out their feelings to drugs. Although she feels that anti-anxiety medications certainly have their place in the medical profession, she also feels that most physicians do not have the time to help patients do the kind of sorting that may be necessary--therefore a script is written to help manage a patient's anxiety. Miriam developed her system of erasing anxiety by experiencing anxiety herself one bright sunny day in Florida. She had asked for God's assisiance and His answer came as Just Erase your anxiety. Meditate on what may be bothering you. Write everything down, then begin to do the sorting process. The reader will be able to erase, one by one, the majority if not all of the anxieties compiled on the list.
