Growing Up Hawai'ian My blog is simply being a mom. I ususally compare how I'm raising my kids to how I was raised (in Hawai'i).
Welcome! I am a working mother trying to raise my children to be their best. I love decorating , which is also my day job, cooking, cross stitching, reading and travelling. Welcome to our home!
This blog charts my journey as a beginning stay at home mum (SAHM) who’s juggling trying to learn how to cook, clean & care for my baby (who was born in Jan 2009). I also try (very hard!) to fit into my busy schedule time for my part-time studies in zoology (as I love animals), as well as my interests in handicrafts, photography & reading. As hubby and I are not neat freaks and used to be pack rats, I'm also trying to clean out and organise my house, but of course, that'll take quite a long time before the house will reach some semblance of order... I used to be a teacher, which is probably why I ramble so much, and I'm very interested to learning the various methods and schools of thought for early childhood education... I’ll try to share tips that I learn along the way as a new mum and homemaker (more as a reminder for myself especially if I have another kid!), and hope you’ll drop by to share your own tips too!
